Online, by card, through your own Stripe account - as a weekly subscription or pay-as-you-go, whichever you enable. Money settles to your bank, typically next working day. You can also record offline payments (cash, bank transfer) manually.

No. Your subscription is our only revenue. Stripe charges its standard card fee, exactly as it would if you used Stripe directly.

Refund to the original card from the Payments ledger, or issue lesson credit to the family's balance - useful for cancellations where a refund isn't warranted. Credit applies automatically at their next checkout.

Yes. Your public booking page lets a new parent browse real availability, pick a slot, and pay. Their account is created as part of checkout, not before.

Add a closure date (per-venue or school-wide) in Manage → Closures. Affected sessions disappear from booking, registers, and teacher schedules everywhere, and you choose whether families get credit.

Mark the sessions as needing cover in Manage → Cancellations. Offer them to qualified teachers, or cancel with automatic parent notification and credit in a couple of clicks.

Yes - that's a standing booking. The swimmer keeps the same slot every week and OctoSwim materialises the concrete bookings as the schedule rolls forward.

When a class is full, parents can join its waitlist. When a space opens you send a targeted slot offer to the family you choose - no first-come-first-served scrums.

Automatically. When a teacher marks the last skill in a stage as Mastered, the stage completes, the certificate generates, and the parent is notified.

£20 flat covers up to 50 active swimmers in the billing month. Above that, it's 40p per swimmer - 200 swimmers is £80. Swimmers paused for holidays don't count.

Settings → Subscription → Cancel. It takes effect at the end of the paid month, your data stays exportable for 90 days, and there's no retention phone call.
